World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) launched “WIPO PROOF”, a new online application, on May 27, 2020, starting to provide time stamping service for contents which might be subject to intellectual property.
This service will enable to record existence of any intellectual property contents at WIPO along with a certain date and time, and it may be used as evidence in any legal disputes. This brand-new service is, undoubtedly, a groundbreaking development for protection of intellectual property rights not registered at any competent authority yet.
